Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb chicken wings, split with tips removed
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
- Thick, blue cheese or Ranch-style salad dressing (optional)
- Carrot and celery sticks (optional)
Preparation
- Spread chicken wings in the ActiFry pan. Season with salt and pepper (to taste).
- Cook for 30 to 35 minutes or until skin is crispy and the meat is cooked through. [For Genius models, use Mode 6.]
- Meanwhile, whisk hot sauce with butter and cayenne pepper (if using) in a large bowl.
- Use a slotted spoon to add hot wings to the bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
- Serve wings with dressing for dipping and carrot and celery sticks on the side (if using).
Variations
- Replace the buffalo-style sauce with 1/3 cup any preferred, prepared sauce such as barbecue, sweet Thai chili sauce or honey garlic sauce.
