Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 teaspoon (of each) chili powder garlic powder, cumin
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mexican blend, cheddar, or your favorite melting cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- ½ cup salsa
- 12 small corn or flour tortillas
- Oil or cooking spray
- *Optional*| Sour-cream, Guacamole or avocado, tomato, cilantro, lime for topping
Combine Shredded chicken, spices, and cheeses in a large bowl.
Lay the tortillas on a flat surface and divide the chicken and cheese mixture among the 12 tortillas. Roll up each tortilla tightly. Spray all sides or taquitos with cooking spray or brush with a light layer or oil.
Place taquitos in the air fryer in a single layer without overcrowding. Air fry at 400°F for 12-15 minutes or until crispy.
Open the air fryer after 12 minutes to check, cook longer if necessary. Serve with preferred sauce.
