Ingredients

  • 3 cups elbow noodles, dry
  • 4 cups 2% milk
  • 1 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp mild jalapeno hot sauce
  • 1 tsp concentrated vegetable broth paste
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Seasoned bread crumbs

Preparation

1. Insert paddle attachment and pour all ingredients; except the butter and salt, into the bowl. Mix gently with a rubber spatula to ensure no noodles are stuck together. 2. Select PASTA function, stir ON with time set to 20 minutes. 3. Once the machine has reached ideal cooking temperature the machine will beep. Open the lid and stir with a rubber spatula to ensure there are not any noodles that have become stuck together. 4. Close lid and select the START key. 5. When there are 5 minutes remaining; open the lid, add the butter and salt. Close the lid until the program finishes. 6. Open the lid, remove the paddle and adjust seasoning. 7. Prior to serving, stir pasta to ensure the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. 8. Garnish with seasoned bread crumbs.
